Scope of work
This project replaces two existing AJAX boilers in Building 1047 at the New Mexico Air National Guard complex with two new high-efficiency Lochinvar boilers rated 90% or above. The contractor demolishes the old boiler mechanical equipment, insulation, valves, gauges, venting, expansion tank, air separator, gas meter, and regulator, then installs the new boilers with new piping, venting, electrical, controls, expansion tank, air separator, and isolation and control valves. Work includes reconnecting gas and water, tying into the existing Direct Digital Controls, adding glycol water treatment, and performing test and balance plus manufacturer start-up.
