USCG Station Quillayute River Main Building Flooring Renovation

Scope of work

Demo and dispose of approximately 1,500 SF of existing flooring (about 60% carpet, 40% tile) and baseboards in the Station Quillayute River main building. Inspect, patch, grind, level, and moisture-mitigate the exposed subfloor, then install a crack-isolation/uncoupling membrane over the prepared substrate. Set new ~12"x24" porcelain/ceramic tile with non-sanded grout, and install new baseboards and transition strips at doorways.

• Approximately 1,500 SF flooring tear-out and replacement
• 30-day on-site performance period plus 10-day premobilization
• Required completion by September 2, 2026
• Site visit July 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT (RSVP due July 14)
• Questions due July 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM PDT
