Scope of work
Construct approximately 1,100 LF of new paved bike path along the West Bluff Trailhead parking area and widen approximately 1,200 LF of Long Avenue to add an uphill bike lane, including asphalt concrete (AC) paving (4" Type 1 in two lifts), site concrete, and thermoplastic pavement striping. Build several small retaining walls, reconstruct the historic masonry (cobble/stone) drainage channel, replace guardrails and chain-link fencing, and install cast-in-place (CIP) concrete storm drainage improvements. Reconstruct the Long Avenue / Marine Drive intersection and plaza with a new access-control gate and vehicle turnaround, remove the existing roundabout, and relocate existing light poles and EV charging stations.

- Virtual pre-bid site visit held June 22, 2026
