Scope of work
Cut and remove roadside vegetation and small trees along forest roads in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest to keep the travel way, signs, and drainage clear. Brush back vegetation to established vertical and horizontal clearances, mechanically thin and scatter standing trees and snags under 9 inches in diameter, and dispose of the resulting debris outside the brushing window. Work is measured by the mile along the road centerline across roughly 56 miles of base roads, with optional additional roads.
